The much-talked about character was played by Grandmaster Shifuji Shaurya Bhardwaj, who a Chief Commando Trainer. Yes, you read that right. He has served as the Special Anti Urban Terrorist Tactics Instructor for Mumbai Police after the 26/11 attacks and Special Commando Trainer for Combatants of the Army’s Fighting Regiment.

A few years ago, Grandmaster Shifuji legally changed his name to one that most will associate with the wise, red panda from the film Kung Fu Panda. The Chinese title translates to `skilled worker'.
Pune-based Shifuji, who spent 29 years in the military, training Hawk Commandos, Special Armed Forces, Counter Terrorist Group, Special Task Force and the Anti Terrorist Squad, has been teachingwomen self-defence for the last 15 years.
Through his programme, Situation Reaction Technique (SRT), he teaches women survival tactics to respond to any kind of attack. He has taught 37 lakh women to date, he says. "The biggest challenge is altering women's mindsets.Society assigns a certain role, and they're made to believe that they are inferior, weaker and vulnerable," says Shifuji, who was in the city to conduct a workshop at Byculla.
We sat in on a session where women practised moves to break holds, block attacks and perform onetouch strikes that render the assailant to the floor. "My programme draws inspiration from art forms like yoga, kathak and volleyball," he says.
For instance, he says, think of the kathak mudra pataka in which your palm remains open, with all fingers closely held together. If an unarmed person tries to slap you, break it with one hand while hitting them with the hand formed in the pataka mudra. This is an ideal response when the attacker is wearing a helmet as striking the face of the helmet would be enough to push the head back backwards. His workshop focuses on using presence of mind and training oneself to stay calm during an attack. "In most cases, the attacker doesn't expect the victim to fight back," he says.

A Chief Commando Trainer roped in as the action consultant for Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Baaghi' put his acting skills to test. At a time when concern for women security has risen to an unprecedented scale due to frequent assaults on them, a man from Mumbai is busy helping thousands of young girls by teaching them survival tactics and protection skills and self-defence.
Having learnt Akhara Kushtee, Kallaripayattu Indian Martial Arts, Shaolin Kung-fu at the 5th century Shaolin Temple in China and 69 other deadliest killing skills, along with oldest fighting systems in existence, Grandmaster Shifuji feels intrigued about women’s vulnerability in India.
He believes that the present time requires women being self-reliant in protecting themselves in everyday life and being able to dodge any attack being perpetrated on them. About his odyssey of martial art, Shifuji gives credit to his parents who encouraged him to get trained and be the strongest to fulfil his dream of helping the helpless.
Having practised almost every fighting forms of the world, Shifuji, who is in his early 40’s, feels that nothing works during street fights since such fights require distinct survival tactics.
For such peculiar and sudden situations, I have developed my own tactics for the women. I also developed my own martial arts known as Shifuji’s Fusion Martial Arts & Street Kung-fu. I regard martial art forms of Gurukul Hath Yog, Kallaripayattu and Akharaa as my religion, not just as art forms – Shifuji
Shifuji feels there is a strong need for private companies to ensure their staffs feel confident enough while stepping out of their homes or offices. According to him, private companies should ensure survival tactics, self-defence training for women. Because there is nothing wrong in letting everyone know the art of self protection. Self defence training is completely a different science altogether. It is all about knowing ones own strengths and weaknesses.
With a focus to aware people and inspire them to train themselves for self protection, his innovative self-defense tactics include special ways of using available accessories like bangles, ATM or Id cards, cellphone, key ring, dupatta, nails, notebook, pen and even hair clip.
Grandmaster Shifuji’s dream is to prepare a good and safe environment for Indian women and help the youth in leading a disciplined and focused life. He also advocates at least one year military training being made a part of the basic curriculum of Indian education system.

About the scope of martial art in India, Shifuji says – ‘I personally think any martial art is like a prayer and a lifestyle with a sense of no return. It should always be taken as a discipline of life than a career. If you take it as a sport it may help you to convert it in to a business. But I feel that your aim should be clear. I can’t say anything about how to be successful in it, because I have never viewed it a business and just a source of making moollah out of it. But I know how to earn blessings from the helpless and needy. I sold my house and cars for Mission Prahar. It means everything to me.’
Shifuji believes that martial art training is not so important but what important is specific survival and protection skills training, which is based on the body science and physiological warfare system. When asked if he feels the willingness to propagate the art of self-defense in colleges, schools and local societies are missing on government’s part, he said – ‘I don’t speak anything about anyone else. But yes I know what I am doing and that it works for people in daily life. I don’t talk about problems because I am working to offer solutions. Blaming the government isn’t my motto. I wish to do my bit for the society.’
With an aim to train about one crore women through Mission Prahar project, Grandmaster Shifuji has been successful in imparting training to about 33 lakh women in survival tactics in schools, colleges, institutes and different organizations across India.
Having been chief Commandos Mentor of the Elite Special Forces, Special Commando trainer of the Hawk Commandos and Counter Terrorist Group, he has been also a special skill trainer for Indian Revenue Service and Indian Foreign Service officers. An action mentor of few top action movies and stars, he takes pride in his own Shatru Vinashak killing skills, special customized close quarter battle mechanism and single second knock out system for commandos.
Shifuji, today the Brand Ambassador of Madhya Pradesh, wants people to realize the need for self-training before expecting others to help them in trying times.

फिर 'शिफूजी' क्या है? शिफूजी बस सिंपल नाम है! ऐसा खुद शिफूजी ने कहा और फिर आगे वो कहते हैं...शिफूजी मेरा ट्रेडमार्क है और एक 'ब्रांड' है। वो कहते हैं मैं भारत का इकलौता ऐसा शख्स हूँ जिसके आधार कार्ड पर अंकित है 'ग्रांडमास्टर'। भारत में शिफूजी नाम यूज़ करने के लिए केवल मैं अधिकृत हूँ! मजेदार बात ये है कि शीफूजी का सिग्नेचर है 'इंकलाब ज़िन्दाबाद'।
क्या शिफूजी कोई आर्मी पर्सन है? इसका जवाब शीफूजी साफ़-साफ़ नहीं देते! वो कहते हैं हर वो शख्स, हर वो बाप जो ईमानदारी से रोटी कमाता है और भारत का सम्मान करता है वो भारत का सिपाही है। शीफूजी जज्बे के मामले में किसी भी आर्मी पर्सन से इस मायने में बेस्ट हैं, क्योंकि वो डेड्लीयस्ट स्पेशल फोर्सेज और काउंटर टेरेरिस्ट ग्रुप के कमांडोज को न केवल 'एक्सट्रीम सर्वाइवल' की ट्रेनिंग देते हैं, बल्कि वॉर फ़ेयर टेक्नीक्स की भी ट्रेनिंग देते हैं। वो चीफ कमांडोज मेंटर और भारत के प्रथम व एक मात्र कमांडो ट्रेनर के तौर पर सेना और कई राज्यों की स्पेशल आर्म्ड फोर्सेज को ट्रेनिंग दे चुके हैं। 26/11 हमले के बाद मुंबई पुलिस ने जितने भी स्पेशल एक्शन ग्रुप्स, स्पेशल काउंटर टेररिस्ट इन्सर्जेन्सी ग्रुप्स और फर्स्ट रेस्पोंडर्स कमांडो फोर्सेज का गठन किया, उन्हें भी शिफूजी ट्रेंड कर चुके हैं। मध्यप्रदेश समेत कई अन्य राज्यों की स्पेशल आर्म्ड फोर्स को शीफूजी ने अलग-अलग टैक्टिक्स से दुश्मन से निपटने के गुर सिखाए हैं। शीफूजी ने लीथल एलीट स्पेशल फोर्सेज (LESF), स्पेशल ऑपरेशन ग्रुप (SOG), स्पेशल एक्शन ग्रुप (SAG), स्पेशलाइज्ड एलीट प्रोटेक्शन युनिट (SEG), नेशनल सिक्यूरिटी गार्ड्स (NSG), Z+ सिक्यरिटी महाराष्ट्र, स्पेशल प्रटेक्शन यूनिट (SPU), इंडियन नेवी मरीन कमांडों, हॉक कमांडो और ब्लैक कैट कमांडोज को बतौर चीफ कमांडोज मेंटर अपनी सेवाएं दी हैं उनका कहना है कि उन्होंने इस काम के कभी पैसे नहीं लिए।
शीफूजी की मदर मार्शल आर्ट क्या है? शीफूजी का कहना है कि उनके मुख्य गुरु उनके माता-पिता हैं। वो कहते हैं कि उनका मदर मार्शल आर्ट, अनुशासन पद्धति और भरोसा कुश्ती और अखाड़े पर है। विश्व की प्राचीनतम व सबसे ख़तरनाक कला भारतीय मार्शल आर्ट्स 'कलरीपयट्टू' की शीफूजी ने 17 साल ट्रेनिंग ली है। वो बताते हैं कि इस घातक युद्ध कला की रचना महान योद्धा परशुराम जी ने की थी।
फिर शॉउलिन टेम्पल क्यों मशहूर है? शीफूजी ने 'कलरीपयट्टू' सीखने के बाद मार्शल आर्ट के लिए मशहूर 'शॉउलिन टेम्पल' जाकर भी सीखा, लेकिन इसको लेकर उनके विचार चौंकाने वाले हैं। वो'शॉउलिन टेम्पल' को दुकान बताते हैं। वो कहते हैं कि'कलरीपयट्टू' को 'शॉउलिन टेम्पल'जैसी ब्रांडिंग नहीं मिली। 'शॉउलिन टेम्पल' को वो fees के लिहाज से अमीरों की जगह बताते हैं। साथ ही कहा 'कलरीपयट्टू' को हमने फिल्म बागी में भी दिखाया था। शीफूजी ने 67 देशों के स्पेशल फोर्सेज और आर्मी मिलिटेरी वॉरफेयर, क्लोज क्वॉर्टर बैटल सिस्टम्स की ट्रेनिंग पर भी रिसर्च की है । वॉर में कुंगफू-वुंगफू नहीं चलता! शीफूजी कहते हैं 'गली की लड़ाई' में और 'वॉर की दुनिया' में फर्क है। ब्लैक बैल्ट और कुंगफू-वूंगफू वॉर में नहीं चलता। जो फिल्मों में दिखाते है, वो नकली फाइट है। असली लड़ाई में दुश्मन पंचिंग पोजिशन में नहीं आता और न इन्स्ट्रक्शन पर राइट-लेफ्ट चलता है। वो अपने दिमाग से और पूरे ग़ुस्से से पागल की तरह लड़ता है। वहां रूल्स और रेफ़री के हम चैलेंज करते हैं। युद्ध में सिर्फ़ और सिर्फ़ जिगर और पकड़ काम आती है। किलिंग स्किल चलता है। सामने वाले के हथियार छीनों और चंद सेकेंड में उसे ढेर कर दो।

अभी क्या कर रहे हैं शीफूजी ? शीफूजी का कोई ठिकाना नहीं है! जी हाँ ऐसा वो खुद बताते हैं। दरअसल, शीफूजी अलग-अलग जगहों पर वर्कशॉप के जरिए युवाओं खासतौर पर महिलाओं को प्रोग्राम 'मिशन प्रहार' के जरिए सेल्फ डिफेंस की ट्रेनिंग देते हैं। वो दावा करते हैं कि लगभग 39 लाख बच्चियों को अब तक सरवाईवैल टैक्टिक्स और सेल्फ डिफेंस की ट्रेनिंग दे चुके हैं। बकौल ग्रांडमास्टर शीफूजी फिलवक्त वो एलीट मार्कोस और एलीट स्पेशल फोर्सेज के कमांडोज को ट्रेनिंग देने में मशगूल हैं। तीन महीने के भीतर शीफूजी कर्नाटक और आँध्रप्रदेश में महिलाओं के लिए सेल्फ डिफेंस प्रोग्राम 'मिशन प्रहार' करने जा रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि ये अपने तरह की पहली विश्व की आज तक की सबसे बड़ी वर्कशॉप होगी कि इसे गिनीज बुक के लिए चैलेंज कर सकें। इसके अलावा शीफूजी भविष्य में 70 और 92 एकड़ क्षेत्रफल में 2 राज्यों में आर्मी स्कूल भी खोलने जा रहे हैं, जिसमें भारत के किसी भी विभाग के सिपाही के बच्चों को आजीवन फ़्री एजुकेशन भी दी जाएगी ।

सोशल मीडिया पर खूब वायरल हो रही है शिफूजी को ठग बताने वाली जानकारी, शिफूजी ने कहा - यह एक षडय़ंत्र जबलपुर। मिशन प्रहार के तहत देश की लाखों बच्चियों को सेल्फ डिफेंस का प्रशिक्षण देने वाले और देश के खिलाफ बयानबाजी करने वालों को उनके ही अंदाज में जवाब देने के बाद चर्चा में आए शिफूजी, शौर्य भारद्वाज खुद विवादों में घिर गए हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर चल रही एक पोस्ट में उन पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए हैं। उन्हें जालसाज बताया जा रहा है। इसको लेकर पत्रिका के खास चर्चा में शिफूजी ने अपने तर्क दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि देशद्रोहियों के इशारे पर यह सब पिछले काफी समय से किया जा रहा है। कुछ लोग युवाओं को भ्रमित कर रहे हैं। यह एक सोचा समझा षडय़ंत्र है। षडय़ंत्रकारियों की शिकायतें दुर्भावनापूर्ण और फर्जी भी साबित हो चुकी हैं। इनके खिलाफ अब मानहानि का केस किया जाएगा। यह भी पढ़ें - पाक को गालियां देने वाला वीडियो हुआ वायरल, कमांडोज को देते हैं ट्रेनिंग यह है विवाद सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रही खबर में एक युवक हवाले से शिफूजी पर सीधे निशाना साधा गया है। शिफूजी को ठग व जालसाज बताया गया है। आरोप लगाया गया है कि शिफुजी खुद को गलत ढंग से कमांडो ट्रेनर प्रचारित कर रहे हैं। आरोप लगाने वाले ने यह तक कह दिया है कि उन्होंने कोई इतना बड़ा काम नहीं किया है, जिनता वे प्रचार में बता रहे हैं। खबर में शिफूजी को लेकर भद्दी व असंसीय शैली का भी उपयोग किया गया है। इस मामले में पत्रिका ने शिफूजी से खास बाचतीत की, तो एक दूसरा पहलू भी सामने आया। सवालों पर उन्होंने कहा कि यह सब षडय़ंंत्र का हिस्सा है।
मैं कहता हूं कि यदि वतन की मिट्टी से, अपने फौजी भाइयों या पुलिस के सिपाहियों से प्यार करना और उनके पक्ष में बात करना व गद्दारों को जवाब देना गलत है, तो हम यह गलती बार-बार दोहराते रहेंगे।

प्रश्न - वायरल हो रही एक खबर में आपको जालसाज बताया गया है। इस पर आपका क्या कहना है?

जवाब - यही तो मुख्य बात है। पूरा खेल देशद्रोहियों और एक राजनीतिक दल के इशारे पर चल रहा है। वे चाहते हैं कि मैं जहां ट्रेनिंग देता हूं। उस कैंप की फोटो या वीडियो उनके सामने प्रमाण के तौर पर पेश करूं। सभी जानते हैं कि ट्रेनिंग बेहद गोपनीय तरीके से होती है। इससे देश का गौरव और सम्मान जुड़ा हुआ है। यह सब जानकर भी प्रमाण मांगा जाना इस बात का सबूत है कि सामने वाले के इरादे नेक नहीं है। खबर में आरोप तो ये भी हैं कि मैं किसी को अपना सही पता नहीं बताता। आप ही बताइए कि यदि मैंने अपने जन्म या निवास स्थान का पता बता दिया तो फिर क्या होगा? ये लोग कुछ भी कर सकते हैं। ये देश के दुश्मन हैं और बौखलाए हुए हैं। पैसों की खातिर देश से गद्दारी कर रहे हैं। रही बात मेरी कला मिट्टी बीसीक्यूबी की तो उसकी ट्रेनिंग हम जिन-जिन फोर्सेस को देते हैं। उनसे मिले प्रमाण पत्र हम किसी भी स्थिति में किसी के भी सामने कभी भी नहीं ला सकते, क्योंकि वे देश की सुरक्षा व गौरव से जुड़े हैं।

जवाब - मैंने तो वीडियो डालकर स्वयं स्वीकार कर लिया है कि मैं सामान्य सा व्यक्ति हूं और देशभक्ति मेरी रगों में है। कमांडो ट्रेनर हूं या नहीं.. यह तो उन्हें मालूम है, जिन्हें ट्रेनिंग दी जा रही है। इसके बारे में सभी को बताना जरूरी नहीं है। जहां तक सेल्फ डिफेंस और महिला सशक्तिकरण की बात है तो मिशन प्रहार के तहत मैने गांव-गांव जाकर लाखों बच्चियों को इसका नि:शुल्क प्रशिक्षण दिया है। किसी भी ट्रेनिंग के बदले भी कभी एक रुपया नहीं लिया। यदि लिया है तो आरटीआई से जानकारी लेकर हमें भी बताया जाए। मैं देश भक्ति को बेचता नहीं हूं। जैसा कि कुछ कथित लोग कर रहे हैं। जिन भी पुलिस फोर्सेस, पैरा मिलिट्री फोर्सेस और सशस्त्र सेनाओं की किसी भी यूनिट को ट्रेनिंग दी है, तो यह बात केवल वे जानते हैं और मैं जानता हूं। इसकी जानकारी हम किसी को नहीं दे सकते, क्योंकि यह यह राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से जुड़ा हुआ मसला है। मेरा एक ड्रेस कोड है जो ट्रेनिंग करते समय पहना जाता है और सिर्फ ट्रेनिंग करते समय पहना जाता है। मैंने इस डे्रस कोड का तक कभी सार्वजनिक उपयोग नहीं किया। मैं फिर भी कह रहा हूं जब भी मुझसे किसी कंसर्न अथॉरिटी के द्वारा संवैधानिक तरीके से पूछा जाएगा तो उनके सामने प्रस्तुत हो जाऊंगा। संविधान से बड़ा कोई नहीं है। यह भी पढ़ें - बागी मेें दिखेगा शिफूजी का एक्शन, इनसे इंस्पायर्ड हैं टाइगर श्राफ
प्रश्न - आरोप है कि खुद को ग्रांडमास्टर बताकर लोगों को गुमराह कर रहे हैं? यह कितना सही है?
जवाब - हमने भारतीय नियुद्ध कला के अलग-अलग घटकों को दुनिया के सामने पेश किया है। खुद की दो-तीन कलाएं विकसित की है। इसमें एक सिर्फ सशस्त्र सेनाओं और सुरक्षा बलों के लिए है। इसका नाम मिट्टी रखा है। दूसरा खुद का सरबाइबल टैक्टिस सिस्टम बनाया है, जो मिशन प्रहार के नाम से जाना जाता है। इस विधा को जानने वाला हर परिस्थिति से बचकर निकल सकता है और यह मात्र महिलाओं को सिखाया जाता है। तीसरा भारत के युवाओं के लिए गुरुकुल पद्धति से शारीरिक और मानसिक नियंत्रण करने का एक प्रोग्राम डेवलप किया है, जिसे शिफूजीज बूट कैंप के नाम से जाना जाता है। इससे युवाओं को सशक्त कर रहे हैं। आप ही बताएं, अब इसके लिए ग्रांडमास्टर नहीं कहलाएंगे तो क्या, पॉयलट कहलाएंगे।
जहां तक शिफूजी शब्द लिखने की बात है कि तो संस्कृत में शी मतलब...
शिव की उत्पत्ति, फू का मतलब चरण और जिह का मतलब रेतस यानी बीज, अर्थात महाकाल के पैर में उत्पन्न हुआ बीज...। वैसे तो नाम लिखने का अधिकार भारत सरकार ने दिया है। मेरे आधार कार्ड में ही ग्रांडमास्टर शिफूजी शौर्य भारद्वाज लिखा हुआ है। मैं अपने दस्तखत में इंकलाब जिंदाबाद लिखता हूं और हमेशा लिखूंगा..। समझ में नहीं आता कि इस पर लोगों को क्या आपत्ति है? मैने तो कभी नहीं पूछा कि कौन क्या लिख रहा है? यदि मैं गलत हूं तो संविधान कार्रवाई करेगा? ये सब पूछने वाले ये कौन होते हैं?

प्रश्न - यदि आरोप गलत हैं, तो क्या आप इस मामले में कोई संवैधानिक कार्रवाई करेंगे ?
जवाब - वैसे आपको बता दूं कि मेरे और मेरे परिवार की सुरक्षा में सेंध लगाने का प्रयास पिछले काफी समय से चल रहा है। मेरे परिवार के फोन नम्बरों को ट्रेस करके उनमें अनाप-शनाप मैसेज भेजे जा रहे हैं। मिल रही धमकियों की पूरी जानकारी भी दो राज्यों की पुलिस के पास है। इसकी जांच चल रही है। सुरक्षा और देश के सम्मान के लिहाज से इसका जवाब सोशल मीडिया या अन्य माध्यमों से देना अनुचित है। हमने कानून के जानकारों से सलाह ली है। ये बात भी सामने आ चुकी है कि पूरी चाल उन लोगों की है, जो देश से ईष्या रखते हैं। वे चाहते हैं कि मैं अपना काम रोक दूं, लेकिन ये मेरी प्रतिबद्धता है कि भारतीय सेना और पुलिस के हर जवान के लिए और उसके परिवार के हक के लिए आखिरी सांस तक तत्पर रहूंगा। रही बात आरोप लगाने वालों की तो उनके खिलाफ संवैधानिक तौर पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। दुष्प्रचार करके आत्मसम्मान को ठेस पहुंचाने वालों पर जल्द ही मानहानि का दावा किया जाएगा।
समर्थकों ने भेजे फोटो एक शिफूजी पर आरोपों पर दौर चल रहा है, वहीं शिफूजी के पक्ष में भी युवाओं की टीम सक्रिय हो गई है। शिफूजी के समर्थकों ने उन पर आरोप लगाने वाले युवक की फोटोज सोशल मीडिया पर डाली हैं। इन फोटो में शिफूजी पर आरोप लगाने वाला युवक किसी आलीशान होटल में शराब पीते हुए दिख रहा है। फोटो पर समर्थकों ने लिखा है कि जिसका खुद चरित्र नहीं है, ऐसा व्यक्ति शिफूजी जैसे लोगों पर आरोप लगा रहा है। इसे सच कैसे माना जा सकता है। पूरे मामले की जांच होनी चाहिए और इस पर न्यायसंगत कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए।

Before answering this I went through answers and decided to have a say, how I see it. I respect and encourage people not to blindly believe or follow anything. But that doesn’t mean we should start criticizing if we can’t find reliable information about a guy.
And if someone still thinks, Shifuji Shaurya is wrong and fake. Why not file a legal case? Why not reach out to departments and bring him down? As India is a country of activists. I see that some of us has already taken steps, then why the delay? I think it has been going for 4-5 months now. If Shifuji Shaurya would have been a complete fake, he would probably have been shut down by now.
Sorry, but I can’t recall a single instance where he claimed to be anywhere related to Indian Army or Forces. Yup he claimed to be a Commandos and Martial Arts Trainer instead. We will re-visit this point again at a later stage.

He must had worked very very hard to acquire skills he possesses today. To reach a position where he could give back something to society and country. To Train someone. It’s truly marvelous what he has achieved with his body. People/organizations must have seen something in him and requested/hired for services. To me it truly doesn’t matter he is training commandos or film stars. May be not you or me but many of us marvel over Salman and Aamir khan bodies when they do it for movies. This guy has dedicated his whole life to it. Training, Fitness, Martial Arts in itself are appreciable.
He is training girls/women, how to protect themselves. He has started a noble mission “Mission Prahar” and devoting himself to it. How marvelous. And yes free of cost. He doesn’t charge.
I appreciate him for the way he carries himself. The way he speaks. The way he dresses (and condemn if wears Balidan insignia, Maroon Beret and Marcos Badge, if he is not one). The way he keeps his head high at all times, and not look arrogant. He wears his pride. Inspires us like Bhagat Singh did. What’s wrong if dresses like Bhagat Singh and wears him on his chest. I am assuming he follows and try to mimic Bhagat Singh as he was a true legend. I do not find anything wrong in this. He is fearless. How many of us could afford to criticize big leaders on a public forum for their wrong deeds. I am truly a fan of his oratory skills. His choices or words, his way and tone of uttering them. The way he carries himself, the way he speaks, Admirable. At least he is not criticizing like you all. He speaks to inspire.
How many of us knew or heard of Kalaripayattu before Shifuji Shaurya? Though we all know Judo, Karate, Shaolin, Taekwondo and few others. He is bringing back a lost Indian Martial Art. Just like everyone of us Indians knew about Yoga but Baba Ramdev took it to the world, which is a win-win situation. Yoga got its due fame and people embraced it for being healthy.
When he speaks out loud in support of defense, he might not be speaking on their behalf but speaking on their side. We comfortably seat in our homes and offices, foot soldiers faces problems day-in-day-out. But they are bound under code of conduct. Can’t speak publically. Can’t disobey their seniors. They might get little solace.
How many of you criticized or took any bold steps towards bringing them down when celebrities rolled their vehicles on innocents or kept illegal arms to benefit country’s traitors? If he is faking, faking for betterment. Lord Krishna once said one lie is better than hundred truths if it benefits someone. At least he is awakening and inspiring youths. We all need motivation for almost every aspects in our lives.
Someone made a guess, he is from UP/Bihar. Does it really matter? Does it matter where Bhagat Singh or Mahatma Gandhi was from? What matter is what they did and how did they do it. How they influenced, inspired and lead masses. Don’t sit on your couches in front of your laptops/mobiles and criticize.
I may not be as good as all of you framing paragraphs criticizing him. But this guy deserves a little RESPECT.
Coming back to Commandos/Marcos training. I believe (I am assuming) Army or Mumbai police or whichever organization have occasionally hired him and he is talking about that. We all cherish and show off such things. Few of us has already pointed out Armed Forces keep such things discrete. Why can’t this be the reason they are nor confirming J
At least he is giving hope, if nothing else. And at times hope acts as drowning man catches as straw.
